Leaves

The assignment was to gather four leaves and arrange them in an interesting way. Draw them shadows, negative space, blind contour and
contour.

The Cube

The assignment was to construct a 4x4 cube made of bristol board. Once that was done it needed to be suspended four inches above a 8x8 base by straws only.
I constructed my cube and made tabs on the inside to hold it together. Then glued four straws, one on each corner, to support the cube. The flexible part of the straws connect at the bottom drawing your eye to the base. I also constructed a band around the cube ensuring the hold of the straws.

Foust Building

I enjoyed drawing the Foust Building. It is a much more interesting once you really study it. Although it was a little difficult to capture all of it, I feel like I managed the majority of it.

Container

For this project I had many different designs but in the end I decided that this one was the best to show off the necklace. It made it more delicate and precious in its surroundings. When it is put together, the black ribbon ties around in a bow making the fabric bunch in the middle, looking like an opening flower, and creates a element of surprise, making it look like a present.

For this project I started out with a gum ball and a holly leaf. I had a paper clip piercing through the center and twirling on both sides. After the critique it was discussed to just have the paper clip not so visible. So the ends are now tucked into either side.
